Semester Review Class

I will be offering a 2-hour semester review class on Monday, December 5th from 10AM-12:00 in room B151 of the Global Zone for all Academic English students. We will do review activities for the written final exam and practice for your speaking final. The class is open to all of Mr. Kerson's Academic English students. It is not required, but will likely help your final exam scores.

Open Study Classes at Global Zone

From 9/29-12/1, I will be offering Open Study classes every Thursday afternoon from 5Pm-6PM. You can come to get homework help, grammar instruction, writing tutoring, or just to talk. There will be a sign-up sheet on the door before every meeting. Just put your name on the sheet to schedule an appointment. Here is a list of all the Speaking Classes at the Global Zone

Last Day for Late MyNorthStarLab Homework

The last day for late MyNorthStarLab Homework are as follows:

  • Wednesday-Friday Class: 9/30
Students who have not submitted all of there homework assignments up to that point will come to the Global Zone after class to complete their assignments. After that day, no late work will be accepted.

How to Register for MyNorthStarLab

All students in Acdemic English MUST register for MyNorthStarLab to access the class homework and online activities. You will need three things: 1) the access code included in your NorthStar book; 2) the class code; 3) your student ID.

There are four places where you can learn how to register:
